True cat eyeliner-lovin' cat ladies cannot line on gels and pencils alone. The cosmetics-loving cat enthusiast community is completely united on this betoken.
Information technology but tin't be washed. I, for i, have liquid liner coursing through my veins. That'south how much I dear the stuff.
The terminal liquid liner I had a lecherous liaison with with was Tom Ford's flawless Center Defining Pen in Deeper, only good grief, Charlie Dark-brown! — that $55 price tag is totally insane.
Since so, I've had my sights set on more than affordable liquid liners…

I wondered if Jane's $8 Water-Resistant Liquid Heart Liners were worth their drugstore price, and well — for $viii, it's pretty hard to get incorrect. Perfect, they're not, but they are available in a broad range of colors (13, to exist exact); accept a high-gloss, waterproof terminate; and yous can get a similarly shiny look to MAC'south $19.50 Superslicks Liquid Liners if y'all don't mind putting in a petty piece of work.
What do I mean?
Two words: the brush.
I don't know what it is with me and sparse, flexible brushes, merely we just don't go forth. And these are like Olympic gymnasts (read: very flexible), so drawing really sharp edges, similar at the wing, is no easy feat. With these I definitely have to (or at least should) run a Q-tip dipped in makeup remover along the edges to make clean up any mistakes.
If you're an experienced liquid liner wearer, yous'll probably exist fine, but beginners might need some time to really get the hang of information technology.
Even because the brush, though, I do think these take major potential, and I'd even get so far as to call them respectable dupes for the MAC Superslicks.
Certain, I find myself needing several layers of Jane's liners (as opposed to just one or two of MAC's) to achieve that signature Superslick await, so that'south also something to consider. That, and I have to remember to keep my hands off my optics when I clothing them, because any rubbing at all and they flake, scrap, bit.
I've tried three of the 13 colors so far (a dark metallic navy blue, a metal purple and a pale pink with silver glitter), and I'm partial to the darker colors. Seems similar I don't have to layer them as much to get a proficient amount of colour.

From this batch, Metallic Lilac — a straight-upwards jewel-toned purple that isn't overly reddish — is my fave, and I bet information technology'southward going to wait slap-up on just about every eye color. Browns, greens, blues, hazels — you name it.

Toll: $viii each (available in 13 shades)
AVAILABILITY: Bachelor at present online and at drugstores
